I. Introduction

If professors are the equivalent of neutrophil and CD4+ T helper cells of a guild, then, HP’s are the erythrocytes necessary to keep the guild going. Without them the survivability of a guild will diminish rapidly over time. To achieve this goal, it is necessary for HP’s to be able to remain focused at all times and know in advance what to do in a situation to help their guild maintain peak performance. Therefore, it is the goal of this guide to help players learn how to play their class in woe to maximize it to their fullest potential.

II. Gears/Consumables

A. Gears
-Use Horn+Alligators+Long Mace to stack the range resist when guilds are separaterd far apart, putting you at 55%, especially good when you're behind cades.
-Only wear Orleans when running through buffs to decrease the time spent running through the list. If there are no guilds in a position where they can properly target you, take off your weapon while buffing too, for increased ASPD, and have it hotkeyed to be put back on the instant there is any danger.
-Wear long mace when not healing.
-Have a Smoke accessory, don't default it, only put it on when you need to hide, then take off the accessory to come out of hide, DO NOT PRESS HIDE AGAIN TO EXIT HIDE.

B. Consumables:
Condensed Whites
Blue Potions
Yggdrasil Berries
+7 VIT food
+7 INT food
+7/8 DEX food
Blue Gemstones
Holy Water(Very few)
Concentration Potions(You can't get zerk pitcher 100% of the time)

III. There are 2 main roles for a HP, being High Priest not managing a party or High Priest managing a party. The type of party you are in will determine your stat allocation and your role.

A.High Priests Not Managing a party.
2-3 High Priests will be assigned before woe to fill this spot. If you are assigned this duty.

1. Keep pneumas in front of the LP, do not let the range of any of your pneumas exceed 3 cells away from the LP.

2. Spam Bless on the creators that are using marcs. They will get petrified and be unable to do anything, and it also helps keeps buffs up due to the frequency that they get dispelled.

3. If you notice an enemy key class slip out, Lex spam it to ensure it drops, then replace yourself back to your original position. If you notice one of OUR players slip out of the block, spam pneuma on them and create a pneuma path back to the group to ensure their survival. In both cases, do not let yourself go off the LP. If you misclick and find yourself out of the block, spam hide and speed pot your way back to the group.

I cannot stress this enough. Survivability is your main focus as a player. You need to stay alive so that you are there to support your guild. Just like your position in the block, your main focus will be the players in the FRONT. So if a player(s) manages to make it past your position, consider them to be in the dead zone and allow the champs to clean up behind you.

Push responsibilities:

1. During the countdown, rebuff the entire party with bless, and whatever extra buffs mentioned in the general duties. The leader will say "get ready to push, 3, 2, 1". You should begin rebuffing at 3.

2. At "1", the Pneuma Focus Priest will cast pneuma in front of the guild. MAKE SURE THAT THE AREA WE ARE MOVING TO WILL HAVE PNEUMA’S AT ALL TIMES. Keep pneumas up constantly. View the screenshot provided:

3. High Priests(Except Pneuma Focus): Assist with pneumas in front. When the countdown has finished, do not hesitate. Start Lex Aeternaing where the leader has told you to focus. Do not stop until that section disappears.

4. After about 2 seconds of the guild pushing, get safe (if you were Lex Aeternaing), and rebuff your party. Quickly find your place back into the block and then continue your job mentioned in the general duties. Help to hold the new line until the next order to push is given.
Counter-rush responsibilities:

1. Do not panic. Do not retreat. Stay in a tight group and stand your ground.

2. Just Bless your party.

3. Spam Lex Aeterna.

4. Change to a diff defensive position or go back to town if told to. Not before.

It is your job to look at the STATUS of your team.

1. Do buff runs every ~60 seconds. Your focus should be watching your chat for when people's buffs are removed, and instantly replacing them. The reason for buff runs is to replenish them on players that may have lost them offscreen or you may have not noticed in a flood of skills, and for replacing less essential buffs.
1.b. Methods: Watch your used skill log to ensure every player got both Bless/Agi, following this run Kyries down the list and Impostio anyone in the party who would benefit from this. If anyone loses their buffs while you are running down the list, proceed to rebuff them with Bless/Agi then continue on with the list where you left off. Someone who got dispelled is most likely a frontline class, so their buffs tkae priority.

2. Keep pneumas in front of our Land Protector, they should exceed no more than 3 cells off the LP, the same as wall of fog. This is NOT your #1 priority, just do it if you happen to notice they're down and not getting replaced.

3. Keep gloria up, but check to see if any party members are cloaking along the walls so you won't cause them problems.

4. Suffragium. If there is nothing else to do, suffragium. DPS wizards and Professors are nice targets to choose from, while creators can work too. If you have none of these to choose from, you can either click on the important classes on the front line(Not recommended) or friend them and assist with keeping their buffs up and use them as suffragium targets when you have nothing else to do.

5. Buff anyone that comes to the back. Don't wait for a chat to be placed up. Be proactive and assume that they need buffs.

POSITION

Placement is important. No matter which party you are assigned to, you must NOT move past this line and move to the front. Your job in the back is to keep buffs up and to keep RUWATCH up at ALL TIMES. If opposing players leak past the black line, make sure you LEX them. Buff any guild mates that move to the back asking for a buff. However I do suggest being proactive. If someone is in the back that should not be there, don’t wait for them to ask, just buff them before they put up chats.

IV. BARRICADE DEFENSE:

1. Just as there is focus fire, there will also be a focus heal. What this means is that when we are defending behind the barricades and under attack by a guild. All HP’s, should focus their heals and start heal spamming + Sanctuary on the barricade closest to the attacking guild. So even if the barricades are being rushed, if all the priests focus heal on one cade, it would be very difficult to take down.

High Priest. Focusheal1

2. Do not pneuma the cades. This will the job of Champs. However, if you notice that there are no pneuma's on the cades, keep pneuma's up and when Champs are able to resume this duty, go back to healing cades.

3. Don't forget to cycle buffs to your party, still keep an eye out for their status especially Creators and Hwizards.

Thats it, thank you for reading!
