Gypsy Tutorial.

A very important support class and the 2nd best debuffer in the game. If you enjoy annoying the hell out of people this class is for you. Scream and Slow Grace, are 2 of the most dreaded skills in WoE. The best gypsies are those who know what to do in most situations. Also learn how to rope switch effectively.


AGI/Scream Gypsy [AGIGypsy]

An amazing build for what a gypsy is meant for. You will want to stay in the front of the guild's block for as long as possible. Proper positioning is key to playing this class. It's so you can maximize your Scream effectiveness, without exposing yourself to needless damage. AGI gypsies also have a hidden talent. They generally have the best ASPD song in game. Do not be afraid to use this asset. Be patient with Slow Grace, and only do it when you are sure you can survive the attempt.

(Strongly Recommended over Build#2) although its not the usual 120 DEX build, it's been tested and 100 DEX is only 1 aspd different then 120. I don't think the points into DEX is really worth the 1 ASPD. The kukre one is to swap for when using sin-x song, and when you're not flashing song use Alligator.

the 110 VIT build will make you take more damage from AD, however you also heal more with potion. The extra VIT basically helps you to get more HP and survive deadlier strikes such as Asuras and Sonic Blows when you rush Slow Gracees.

General responsibilities:

1. Make sure you friend the linkers before WoE. Use "/hi GYPSY LINK" to ask for link. This way the linkers know what skill to use.

2. Bring lots of Speed Pots.

3. Scream. Your #1 priority. EZPZ. Your skill cycle should be: ASPD song - rope switch - Fortune's Kiss - 10x scream - ASPD song - rope switch - Fortune's Kiss - 10x scream - repeat. Although your main job is to scream, if you notice SP song is down flash SP song as well.

4. Ensure you can see the first 2 ranks of the enemy block on screen. You do NOT need to be closer if we're not pushing. Generally you'll still be on the LP if you do this, just make sure you stay just behind the creators and professors. This way you can also buff the creators with ASPD song.

5. Stay alive. Do not move out of the block. Hide and Speed pot back into the guild if you need to. Stay behind the offensive profs.

6. IF SOMEONE GETS INSIDE THE GUILD, SLOW GRACE THEM. You don't have to keep it up, just flash slow grace. It really fucks up WSs, SinXs, Champs, LKs, those that are generally the ones that try to rambo the guild.

7. If you feel you can attempt it, make sure you're linked. Rush the enemy guild with Slow Grace on, pot, hide spam in case you take too much damage, ensure Slow grace is on when you're inside the guild, and immediately speed pot out. Generally I do not suggest this, as most good guilds can defend from this easily. Remember, you should always do your best to stay alive, don't be aggressive needlessly. The closer the enemy guild is, the higher your chance for survival (4 movement cells apart is a good distance). Once you have slow graced a guild make a macro in your alt+# that will notify the guild of you're successful SG attempt. For example ----- SLOW GRACED ----- SLOW GRACED----- OR say it on Vent only once.

8. Do not waste your time using Tarot. If you do, you're asking for a guild kick.

9. Out of the number of you gypsies, a gypsy or two will be considered aggressive Slow Grace, if you havent been asigned, do NOT do it unless told to. Please remember your role for rushing/wiping/counter-rushing. If you're not aggressive Slow Grace, you're the main Screamer.

10. Friend the SPP Creators before WoE. Use "/hi FCP PLEASE" if you need FCP.

Push responsibilities:

1. When given the order to push and the countdown do not hesitate.

2. During the countdown, re-sing ASPD song to ensure the Creators have it before rushing.

3. If you're an aggressive Slow Grace gypsy, speed pot into the enemy guild with Slow Grace. If you're the main Screamer, just move up and continue screaming and flashing ASPD song near the Creators. There aren't many rushers (a Prof, WSs, SinXs or Champions will be with you), so you need to stay alive until this moment.

Rush/wipe responsibilities:

1. When given the order to rush/wipe and the countdown do not hesitate.

2.If you are one of the gypsies preassigned to slow grace and a notification of the opposing guild has yet to be slow graced now would also be a good chance to hinder them.

3. Continue using Scream.

Counter-rush responsibilities:

1. Do not panic. Listen to Orders.

2. If you're an aggressive Slow Grace gypsy, speed pot to the enemy guild with Slow Grace. If you're the main Screamer, just continue screaming, and flash slow grace once if an enemy char is inside the guild.

3. Continue using Scream.

4. Return to town if told to. Not before.
